DANA Study is a seasoned advisor in the field of educational opportunities for Czech high school and university students abroad. Our students embark on studying in schools all over the world, get to know different cultures and gain experiences that open up new horizons and unlock countless possibilities.
We provide guidance and consultation for studying abroad through individual meetings with students and their parents. We guide our clients through the comprehensive admission process and support them and their families throughout their entire stay abroad.
Believe it, you can do it! Studying abroad at schools where you are not backed by an army of Czech classmates will open up new perspectives. You will acquire critical thinking skills, be forced to use foreign languages, and arrange things on your own. You will gain a life lesson that you will draw on for the rest of your life. New opportunities for your professional life will open up, and, last but not least, you will learn to differentiate the important from the unimportant.
TO EVERYONE CONSIDERING
Where can you study?
Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Canada, the US, selected countries in South America, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Japan.

around the world

We want the student and their family to know exactly what they are getting into. Open communication creates a safe environment for the student, parents, and us alike.
We are not just an agency that “arranges” a stay abroad. We have proven experience with situations in which students may find themselves, which is why we make sure to stay in touch with them and their family throughout their entire stay.
For several years now, we have sent dozens of students to explore new opportunities that await them. We explore new possibilities, seek new partners, and adapt to changing conditions.
GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT
DANA ČERNÁ – FOUNDER
In high school, I participated in educational stays in London and Heidelberg, Germany. Thanks to a scholarship granted by the governor of the Central Bohemian Region, I had the opportunity to participate in several internships in Mainz, Germany, where I worked at the local Chamber of Commerce and the tourist centre. I gained further work experience and enhanced my English skills as an au pair in Canada and the US, where I also studied at a local university. I completed my master’s degree in Switzerland at the University of Applied Sciences in Chur, where I applied and went through the admission process entirely on my own. Learn more about my experiences here.
Which country should I choose?
Individual countries differ greatly in culture, schooling possibilities, admission procedures, and financial requirements. We would be happy to meet with you and discuss everything to choose the best fit for you together.
How long are study stays?
A stay at a high school abroad usually lasts for one semester (5 months from September or January) or a full academic year (10 months). University students generally stay for a complete bachelor’s or master’s degree at foreign universities.
Where do students live?
Accommodation for high school students is usually provided in local host families, whereas university students live in student dormitories or residences operated by the university.
How much does it cost?
The price of the stay is dictated by the choice of destination, school, length of stay, transportation costs, etc. Therefore, we always prepare a tailor-made price calculation for each study stay. High school stays are generally cheaper because the education of high school students in foreign countries is supported, and the costs of accommodation and tuition are lower. We will gladly provide more information and estimate the price for a specific destination by email or in person.
In what language do students study?
Since we arrange stays at local schools, students complete courses in the language of the given country. We focus on culturally educational programs, and we firmly believe that students speaking the local language better get to know the culture of the given country.
Mother of a high-school student in the USA
I’m sending you a big heartfelt THANK YOU!
For your precise, comprehensive, and reliable work, thanks to which I, a very anxious mother of an only child, managed to send my daughter to the USA for a full school year with ease. I could talk about the countless difficult administrative tasks and arrangements surrounding the process, but what I want to emphasise is that you took complete responsibility for everything, and it all worked perfectly. Also, what I personally value the most is your personal approach and dedication. I simply feel like you are sending your own child across the ocean. The care you provide is absolutely exceptional! And my daughter is having the greatest time in the US.
Thank you very much, I really appreciate it.
Ellyn - high school in the USA
Going on a year-long “exchange” stay to the USA is undoubtedly one of the best decisions I have ever made. Thanks to Dana and her professionally-led agency, I am now enjoying my year at an American high school in Washington D.C. The DANA Study agency guided me through the entire application process, from filling out the initial application to choosing gifts for the host family. Thanks to Dana’s dedication, willingness, brisk communication, and personal approach, I left feeling perfectly prepared and also well aware of the fact that I would be taken care of in case of any unexpected situation.
